The WAAY Association was established to provide projects and educational resources for West African and American Youth, so that they too can provide training, positive leadership skills, and entrepreneurial acumen to serve the needs of their respective communities. WAAY mobilizes volunteers from all over the world to raise social consciousness about poverty and lack of resources that negatively influence the lives of young people in Africa and America. We aim to hold fundraising events in order to provide assistance to those in need of clothing, school supplies, as well as mentorship opportunities, regardless of their race, ethnicity, sex, or religion. WAAY works to diminish the causations that reduce the success of young people by working and collaborating with other organizations and institutions to provide educational resources, education and training opportunities in the area of student exchange programs, and to provide power to homes on a continual basis in impoverished areas of Africa. MISSION Our mission is to promote an intercultural opportunities through education, capacity building and socioeconomic networking by connecting societies.
