Lifeline Foundation is a global non-governmental organization registered in Ghana in 2006, with the mission to improve local welfare through global human development initiatives and vice versa. The organization appreciates human development as a well-being concept within the fields of global and international development. Human development involves actions, knowledge and studies of the human condition with its drivers being the capacity, capability and interconnectivity approaches. According to the United Nations Development Program, Human development, or the human development approach, is about expanding the richness of human life, rather than simply, the richness of the economy in which human beings live. It is an approach that is focused on people, their opportunities and choices. Lifeline believes that: • Human development is a right. Accordingly, it is the right of all humans to have sustainable access to mental development resources, a source of livelihood, a healthy living environment and modern infrastructure. • A high level of human development can be achieved only when the right development variables interact. This depends on how effectively programs are planned and executed. In that regard, networks, partnerships and the right team of experts is always our priority. • A person or animal’s vulnerability to disasters depends on social, cultural, economic, political and environmental factors. With economic factors mostly appreciated in modern politics, all-natural disasters require careful mitigation planning, with a critical focus on vulnerable populations. • Local communities, must be empowered to effectively participate in the design of local programs that limit issues that affect them, based on the pooling of modern global resources for local mental development, communication, information storage, ultra-artificial intelligence, disaster warning and evacuation systems.
