AQUAGREEN is an initiative by OHS WILMOT, an occupational health, safety and environmental management social enterprise with a mission to eliminate single-use plastic. We aim to accomplish this through the deployment of smart water ATMs mapped on an App called Tap. Tap is a mobile App that allows users to find nearby places to refill their reusable water bottles on the go. Tap refill network is built on partnerships with eco-conscious businesses that refill people`s reusable water bottles in an effort to eliminate plastic waste. We are affiliated to the Ghana Climate Innovation Center (GCIC) as a green business. The GCIC is part of the World Bank’s infoDev Climate Technology Program, a unique programme that supports high-growth, clean-tech companies to commercialize and scale the most innovative private sector solutions to climate change. GCIC is supported by the Governments of Denmark and the Netherlands through the World Bank, and is managed by a consortium led by Ashesi University, and including Ernst and Young, SNV Ghana and the United Nations University.
