Young Achievers Foundation, Ghana is a student-run non-profit organization that seeks to promote access to higher education among determined, brilliant, low-incomed students in deprived areas of Ghana. The mission of YAF Ghana is to eliminate the notion that higher education is for the rich. We aim to serve as a conduit through which disadvantaged students can learn about scholarship opportunities and take advantage of the free resources we provide to apply for scholarships and seek funding to embark on tertiary education. We strongly believe that all students, regardless of their socio-economic backgrounds, deserve equal access to higher education. By educating high school students about scholarship opportunities, we can help increase the number of university graduates in predominantly poor communities such as in the three Northern Regions, Volta region and other deprived areas across the country.
