The Ghana Agribusiness Centre (GABC) is a team of agribusiness professionals who are dedicated to promoting, encouraging and supporting agribusinesses in Ghana. We offer tailor made pragmatic consulting services in the areas of agricultural investment, research, management and operation. As part of our social investment, we also inspire agricultural entrepreneurship especially among women and youth through mentoring and incubation, internship placements for graduates, entrepreneurship training for start-ups, and the provision of general information on doing agribusiness in Ghana among others. Our definition of agribusiness include research, agricultural production, climate change, agricultural and food technology, food processing, marketing, storage, transportation, and all businesses in the agricultural value chain. The Vision The platform is designed to complement the efforts of the government’s ministries, departments and agencies and other partners to address the food security, wealth and employment situations in Ghana and Africa as a whole. We believe that overcoming the challenges of youth unemployment on the continent by creating by viable options and opportunities through agriculture will serve as a safe haven for the future of this dear continent of ours. Upgrading of skills and retooling of the productive capacities of the youth will optimize agricultural production at efficient pricing to be able compete in the global market space. GABC wants to have a global recognition as the one-stop-shop for all agribusiness information in Africa. Mission The mission of Ghana Agribusiness Centre (GABC) is to offer tailor made agribusiness services in agricultural investment, research, management and operation while inspiring more youth and women to recognize agribusiness as a viable business venture, thereby curbing the unemployment among the youth.
